Know your choices, boundaries, and reporting options before participating.
Protect your privacy
Do not post medical records, addresses, passwords, financial details, or another person’s private information. Sensitive profile details are optional and hidden by default.
Ask for consent
Meet through a shared Group first. Ask clearly before private messaging or sharing another member’s story or image.
Block and report
Report harassment, exploitation, threats, privacy violations, dangerous medical claims, and repeated unwanted contact.
Peer-support boundaries
Share personal experience without diagnosing others or presenting treatments as guaranteed cures.
Urgent danger or crisis
Call emergency services for immediate danger. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
